Margaret Edwards - Great Britain
Margaret Edwards didn't grow up swimming, but she became great rather quickly. As a teenager, she won the Bronze medal in the 100 meter Backstroke in the Olympics, and was just a few inches from Gold. She continued to swim well in competition for several years and later became a record setting Masters swimmer.

Sue Roberts - South Africa
Sue Roberts was one of the greatest swimmers in South African history. She was part of the "Fab Four" that won the Bronze medal in the 1956 Olympics 4 x 100 meter Freestyle relay. In 2013, she won five Gold medals in the FINA Masters Championships in Montreal, including the 100 meter freestyle championship.

Judy Grinham broke a 32 year winless streak for Great Britain by winning the 100 meter backstroke Gold Medal in Melbourne. But, Judy was not just a one trick pony. She was an outstanding all around swimmer that won medals in the freestyle, backstroke, and relays at the Olympics, World Championships, and Commonwealth Games. In 2007 she was appointed to the Order of the British Empire by the Queen.
